COME weeks ago Mr. W. Greatheed kindly informed me of some
sections of interest on the southern portion of this new line,
and on June 25th last, I had the advantage of accompanying him
on a visit to them. Alighting at Grays, we walked along the road
towards West Thurrock. Shortly after passing Belmont Park we
