SPECIES LIKELY TO OCCUR ON ESSEX SHORES. The following species may be expected to occur on the coast of Essex. Those which, having been found on the shores of the neigh- bouring counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, or Kent, are most likely to be met with in Essex are distinguished by an asterisk (*).
