Terling.—The Rev. C. Boutflower, M.A., of Terling Vicarage, has sent
the following record of rainfall at that place during 1899 : —
Braintree. — The following are the monthly totals as observed at
"Fennes," near Braintree, by Mr. H. S. Tabor :—
Mr. Tabor remarks, "1899 was the seventh year in succession during
which the rainfall was below the average." :
