The morning and afternoon mee tings on 16th October were at Loughton,
and the collecting parties rambled through the forest to Chingford, meeting
at the Royal Forest Hotel for tea and examination and discussion of the
"finds" of the day.
On 13th November, the assembly was also called at Loughton ; but, in
consequence of the short daylight no afternoon party could be arranged.
On this occasion, the woodlands up to Theydon were searched and tea.
was taken at Oak Hill Farm.
