Movements of this species were noted nearly every night from 13th March to 17th April. Wind W.N.W. ; overcast, with rain. 23rd September, Galloper ; Several flights with Meadow Pipits to S.W. Wind E.S.E.3 ; cloudy. 1st October, Galloper : Large numbers with Chaffinches to W.S.W. Wind S.E. ; blue sky, hazy. 2nd October, Galloper : Large numbers with other species to W.S.W. Wind E.1 ; hazy. 2nd/3rd October, Kentish Knock : A few with Chaffinches. Wind S.E. ; misty. 4th October, Kentish Knock : A flock with Meadow Pipits to N.W. ; calm, fog. 6th October, Galloper : Large numbers to W.S.W. Wind E.S.E.3 ; blue sky. 7th October, Galloper : Large numbers with other species to W.S.W. Wind S.S.W. ; blue sky. 8th October, Galloper : Large numbers with other species to W.S.W.
