In this paper Mr. Ross puts forward evidence for his contention that seven, or possibly eight, supposed species of Synergus are in reality forms of three species only. His conclusions are based on study of material bred by the author since 1942. A key to the British species of Synergus having two or more generations annually is appended to the paper. Mr. Syms then gave a lecture on the Caddis Fly. This he illustrated by many photographic lantern slides of the various stages of several species.
