The area covered by the Colchester Royal Grammar School Field Club embraces that part of Essex North and East of grid- reference TL/800100—that is, sixteen of the county's 57 ten-kilometre squares. This area includes 102 boroughs, urban districts and rural parishes, and these districts are normally used for the recording purposes of the Club.
