Coypu Myocastor coypus (Molina)
No records for the period. One unconfirmed report but it
seems that the pest control authority have eradicated the species
from Essex.
Porpoise Phocaena phocoena (Linn.)
No records available.
Bats
There are a number of records of the Pipistrelle Bat seen in
flight and of dead specimens, but the other species as so difficult
to identify in flight that sight records can only be unconfirmed. A
great deal of work has yet to be done on this order in Essex.
