Editorial
This issue sees a number of changes to the Essex Naturalist—a new
printer, a new editor and a new design. I hope readers will approve of the
changes and find the contents interesting. The cover illustration shows
Eristalis tenax, one of the many Essex hover-flies dealt with by R. M. Payne
in this issue. The drawing is by David Lewis.
Instructions for authors are no longer printed in the Naturalist. If you
are planning to submit a paper please contact me before preparing the
final typescript, so that details of lay-out and style can be discussed.
