CLASS PISCES. 95 (Yarrell, British Fishes, vol. i., p. 266). Lindsey says (A Season at Harwich, pt. ii., p. 89) this fish is often found in the stomach of the Codfish. Family DISCOBOLI, Cuv. This is not infrequent in shrimp trawls, and Day says (Fishes of Great Britain, vol i., p. 187) it is common off the mouth of the Thames. Family BLENNIDAE, Swainson. Genus Anarrhicas, Artedi. Anarrhicas lupus, Linn. Sea Wolf. This fish has been captured at Walton-on-the-Naze {Essex Standard, Aug. 29th, 1885). Common as it is on many
