- 6 - SWANAGE TRIP An account of the Geology Group Weekend Meeting, May, 1970 hy the Editor The Geology Group held another highly successful weekend meeting this year, with the geology of the Swanage area as its main objective. The objective was not always adhered to, I fear, partly because of the heat wave at that time, and partly because members' other, varied interests sometimes took over. I am convinced now that not only mad dogs and Englishmen, but also Geologists are the only creatures that go out in the mid-day sun.
