To this delightful correspondence, I can add nothing but "Amen". Roy Masefield ********** "HABITAT" & "NEWSLETTER" Amongst other literature received by the Club the following would be of general interest to our members: HABITAT being the monthly bulletin of the Council for Nature, This outlines recent developments in nature and environmental conservation, with up-to-date news of developments within the natural history societies and naturalists' trusts, and also of national efforts in these fields. NEWSLETTER and other publications of the National Trust, outlining the aims and recent developments within the Trust. Both of these and other literature received by the Club may be had for short term loan on application to the Secretary, If the demand is great enough, this literature may be included in a reading circle. Ron Allen ********** EPPING FOREST OPEN DAY As during last year, several open days are to be held in the Forest, where members of the public will be able to meet the Superintendent of Epping Forest, Mr. A. Qvist, and the Management Committee, to talk about the Forest, the Management Policy and the everyday tasks of management. Those interested are invited to attend at 2:30 p.m. at the Conservation Centre, High Beach, on the 10th October. The pattern will be that of last year - walk and talk, the meeting lasting about two hours. Ron Allen ********** Page 13
