BRAINS TRUST AND QUIZ - 6 Dec 75 (Sat) This meeting proved very popular several years ago so we are repeating it this year. The venue as before being the Conference Hall at the County Education Centre, Broomfield Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford (opposite the Angel public house). A panel of speakers will answer your questions on conservation and natural history matters and questions should be of general interest. WILDLIFE COLOUR SLIDE COMPETITON Last year's competition was an outstanding success and we want to hold another meeting but slightly change the rules. The competition will start at 8.00 pm on Friday 27th February at the County Education Centre, Broomfield Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford, (opposite the Angel PH). Competitors may enter one slide in each of the following sections - 1. Mammals; 2. Birds - but not at nest. 3. Reptiles, amphibians and fish; 4. Insects and other invertebrates; 5. Flowering plants and trees; 6. Non-flowering plants (fungi, mosses, lichens etc.). All slides must have been taken during 1975 or early in 1976 and be of 35 mm or 2" x 2" format.
