5. Woodcock u/as heard in flight 1970, 1971, and 1972.
6. Chaffinches were not recorded.
7. Records for 1973, 1974, 1975 were made in the School
Grounds. A return to Hartswood was made in 1976.
8. The pattern of the Chorus remained the same, but the
volume and number of species was reduced. The average
number of species being 10.
