July, 1985 (SFJD). The fifth and sixth Essex records,
the last four in two years.
Cymatophorima diluta (D. & S.) Oak Lutestring
69 Ingrave, 1985 (KWG); 92 Friday Wood, common 1985-
1986 (BG). There would appear to have been a rapid
build-up in the latter area as there is only one previous
record (in 1984 - see LMBE).

Correction to LMBE: on p. 55 the sole Essex record
(at Bradwell) was in 1946 not 1964.

49 Theydon Bois, 17, 1985 (TWG); 50 Ongar, 1986 (JB,
BW); 70 Danbury Ridge, 1986 (SW), the first record
for E-central Essex.
Catarhoe rubidata (D. & S.) Ruddy Carpet
67 Grays, 1985 (DJLA).
Catarhoe cuculata (Hufn.) Royal Mantle
53 Saffron Walden, 1986 (AME), the third record for
this locality in four years, prior to which there had
been no Essex record since 1969.
