Nudaria mundana (Linn.) Muslin Footman
11 St Osyth, 1986 (RWA), only the third Essex record
in the past decade.
Correction to LMBE: the Bradwell occurrence mentioned
without year on p. 83 was in 1985.
Atolmis rubricollis (Linn;) Red-necked Footman
90 Bradwell, 5 July 1986 (SFJD); 92 Friday Wood, 27
June 1986 (CNHS). Prior to these occurrences there
had been only one Essex record (in 1976) since the
early 1950's.
Cybosia mesomella (Linn.) Four-dotted Footman
49 Epping Forest, 8, 1985 (TWG); 90 Bradwell, 1984 (SFJD).
Pelosia muscerda (Huffn.) Dotted Footman
90 Bradwell, 31 July, 1985 (SFJD), the seventh Essex
record of this migrant species, all but one from
Bradwell.
Utethesia pulchella (Linn.) Crimson Speckled
48 Chadwell Heath, 2nd week September 1978 (Plant, 1986),
the sole Essex record since 1961.
