GLIMPSES OF THE PAST (1)
Amongst Bignell Pratt's papers that came into
the Club's possession on his death was a copy
of an information booklet about the Essex Field
Club dating from the days of Percy Thompson,
F.L.S., who was General Secretary from 1922 -
1949. Percy Thompson was also the curator of
the two club museums of that period 1917 - 1948
at Stratford and Chingford.
I thought that recent members might like an
opportunity to read the image of the Club
presented at that time.
