30 Foray. A new venture was the 'Four Seasons Project' at South Weald, where the same area was visited in spring, summer and autumn to study the ecology. The winter visit is scheduled -for January 1988. The Mammal Group enjoyed a talk by Phil Richardson at their A.G.M. and went bat-netting in June. Old Hall Marshes, Fishers Green, Mill Green, Southend Pier and Abberton Reservoir were all visited by members of the Bird Group, while the Botanists went to Little Baddow and investigated myxomycetes in Epping Forest.
