On silent wings the Barn Owl sweeps
the hawthorn hedge
The cattle sleep midst buttercup
and purple clover
Spring is over- welcome summer
poppies in the wheat
Bring sweet/sad thoughts of
time now past
Nothing last, but memory
to capture here
