Both species often occur in the same locality (Ford. 1952-1953: 97, reprinted 1978:84) and both appear to be present in the series reared by Thurnall. GLYPHIPTERIGIDAE Small to very small moths which fly in sunshine and are called 'fanners' from the way in which they vibrate their wings when at rest. The larvae feed in stems or on seeds.
