being the type localities. The species was in fact discovered by W.C. Boyd and named by him in
litt. Machin (1884) makes reference to the case under the name potentillae, antedating Elisha,
and if the authorship of the name is transferred to him Wanstead becomes the sole type locality.
Whoever is regarded as the author of the name, the credit rests with Boyd for the discovery of
the species.
