VC 18. 88 Westcliff-on-Sea, where Huggins found a moth in his house; there were no pines in
the vicinity and he believed it had emerged from cones brought home by his wife from Wisley,
Surrey. There is, therefore, no evidence that the moth occurs in Essex, but it is likely to do so.
(Huggins, 1962).
