Oncocera semirubella (Scop.) Vag., 1872-1964. Lotus, Trifolium, etc. Essex specimens were
probably wanderers from Kent. The record of "R. sanguinalis" from Essex (Button, 1870-
1871) cannot be Pyrausta sanguinalis (Linn.) but may refer to this species (sanguinella Hubn.,
sanguinea Haw.).
