saw twenty-one records for this normally scarce species and it appeared
at 53 Saffron Walden, three (AME); 01 Fingringhoe Wick NR, two (BG,
JY); 02 High Woods (BG, JY); 02 Donylands Woods (BG); 11
Jaywick, six (JY); 11 St. Osyth, four (RWA); 22 Frinton (RM); and 23
Copperas Bay, three (MEA, PS). The only records after these was one
at St. Osyth in July 1992 and three in August 1993 (RWA).
