adults. (B. Goodey). In Britain this moth is known to occur only in Essex
and this is only the second recorded site.

Tortricidae
0974 Argyrotaenia ljungiana Thunb. Increase in range and density. New sites
at Dovercourt, Kirby-le-Soken and Jaywick. The native British
population feeds on heather. The Continental race is polyphagous and
feeds on the foliage of many trees and shrubs and is now established in
