Any records from there are of great interest, as the site is, of course, usually inaccessible. Finds can never be guaranteed, we often go out in hope rather than certainty, but, as last year's visit to Davy Down proved, more pairs of eyes looking can result in more specimens found. We will be meeting our guide at 1 lam at the Foulness Heritage Museum. This Museum is open to the public on the first Sunday of the month from April until October, 12-4pm. There is car parking space. I am required to provide a list of those persons going on the foray, and their car registration numbers, which must be submitted in advance. If you would like to come, please contact me, either by phone on 01268 765597 or by email to chapmans(aialrosa,fsnet,co.uk. The list must close by 1st October. If you can car share, then tell me the car no. and the names of all the occupants. In case of late changes, please could you give me your contact details, either phone or email. Many thanks. I know October seems a long way off, but it gives you plenty of time to think about it. 2 Essex Field Club Newsletter No. 47, May 2005
