Hanson, looking through a collection of beetles, has found a specimen of a rare Cerambycid (Longhorn) from Knighton Wood in Buckhurst, Hill found on 9th July, 1985. The species is Leptura scutellata, a species of ancient woodland. It has been reported on previous occasions from the Forest. D. A.
