Distribution
Widely distributed and common in the
county.
Habitat and Ecology
Widespread in a variety of habitats but
most records are from woodlands, in leaf
litter, in the field layer, on foliage or tree
trunks. Also recorded from hedges, scrub,
grassland, heathland and allotments.
Adults recorded from the middle of June
to December, with a peak in August and
September.

county but apparently less common than L.
rotundum.
Habitat and Ecology
Widespread in a variety of habitats
including woodland where it has been
recorded on foliage and in the ground and
field layers, hedges, scrub, herbage,
heathland, marshes and dykes.
Adults recorded from the end of June to
November, with a peak between August and
October.
