AGREEMENT WITH THE LONDON BOROUGH OF NEWHAM Since 1956 the Field Club has had an Agreement with the London Borough of Newham whereby its collections and library were administered by the Governors of the Passmore Edwards Museum, comprising members of the Club and the Borough, and housed in the Passmore Edwards Museum. Sadly circumstances changed and the London Borough of Newham could no longer support the Museum and, after a period in storage, a new Agreement has been signed by which the collections and library have passed into the sole ownership of the Field Club. This is a very important step in the Club's history and the new Agreement ending the old one. dissolving the Governors and passing over the ownership of the collections and library is published here in full so that there is a permanent and accessible record of its content. Further background information is given in the Annual Report.
