The strongholds of this species were alongside the Rivers Can and Wid (Sections 6. 7 and 8). although expansion in range towards the sections adjacent to Butler's Brook (Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4) occurred over the five years. However, in these newly colonised sections, this species was observed in very low abundance. Other species such as Blue-tailed Damselfly Ischnura elegans have become less common on the estate during this period (Fig. 2). Fig. 2.
