Not included in Hammond (1999) Meloidae Meloe proscarabaeus L. Local. 21 seen on sandy area at the Naze Walton (TM2624) 16.iii.2002 and over 50 on the sea wall at West Mersea (TM0013/0014) on 29.iii. (Mark Iley). Curculionidae Baris scolopacea Germar RDB3 St Osyth (TMOl) a few on Sea-purslane Atriplex portulacoides 15.vii. (Peter Hodge). Cleonis pigra (Scopoli) Nb. pair in copula on sandy ground Walton Naze (TM2624)13.iv.2002.
