Species text
Chorisops nagatomii was added to the British list in 1979 following the realization that there were two species confused under C. tibialis. Whilst C. nagatomii would seem to be the scarcer species it is now known from widespread localities in southern England and Wales (Stubbs & Drake 2001). Our data indicate the species is adult later in the season than C. tibialis. References
