Appendix. Small Blue. Local. Once resident, extinct since the late 19th century.

Species text
Believed to have been extinct in the county since the late 19th Century. A male was sighting in a private planted field in August 2015. The larval host plant, Kidney Vetch Anthyllis vulneraria, was present. The sighting occurred at the time of a substantial second brood in neighbouring Hertfordshire, although the nearest known colony was over 30 miles away. References
