Species text
There are scattered records, mainly in southern England. This is a small beetle associated with capitula of Leontodon and Crepis, the larvae developing in unripe achenes. The adults feed on pollen and have been recorded from marshland, probably also grassland and disturbed ground (Hyman & Parsons, 1992). References
