Our centre is available for visits on a pre-booked basis on Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm. The Club’s activities and displays are also usually open to the public on the first Saturday of the month 11am - 4pm.

Species text
This metallic violet and green ruby tail wasp is an uncommon southern species. It is recorded as a parasitoid of the larvae of stem- and wood-nesting Sphecid wasps of the subfamily Pemphredinoninae. There are records for only three widely scattered localities in Essex. References
