The status of this small predatory empidid was revised from Notable in Falk & Crossley (2005). It is found on low vegetation and bushes in a variety of sites such as damp woodland, river banks and wetlands. The larval biology is unknown, but larvae of this genus are predatory in a range of situations including soil and rotten vegetation. Records widely scattered in England as far north as Northumberland, and in South Wales. References
