Species text
This is a widespread but local weevil in southern and northern England, occurring on grassland, heathland and scrub. It is phytophagous, developing on the foliage of broom and gorse. Management should aim for a diversity of successional stages, ranging from open ground to mature scrub, by grazing, scraping or rotational cutting. References
