Species text
Polydrusus flavipes is a green weevil that is widespread but local in England. This species is difficult to identify and may be confused with other members of the genus, consequently its exact status is hard to assess. It is phytophagous, associated with young oak and aspen, and possibly also with hazel, beech, birch and hawthorn. It has been found in open and coppiced broad-leaved woodland, also pasture-woodland and mature oaks in parkland (Hyman & Parson, 1992). References
