Species text
The bee is a cleptoparasite of Lasioglossum mining bees, reported to be associated with L. nitidiusculum, a very rare bee in Essex. Confirmed records are confined to the southern half of England, with a strong easterly bias. It has strong preference for dry, sandy habitats such as heathland and disturbed ground. References
