The Ground-Ivy Jewel Beetle is very local, distributed through southern England as far north as South-east Yorkshire. The larvae are leaf-miners. It is associated predominantly with ground ivy Glechoma hederacea, recorded from grassland, woodland and probably quarries. Grazing or cutting, on a rotational basis, is needed to maintain open conditions and a variety of vegetation structures (Hyman & Parsons, 1992). References
