Species text
Xerolycosa nemoralis is mainly found in south-eastern England, where it occurs on dry sparsely vegetated ground in a variety of habitats, such as woodland clearings, heathland and short stony chalk grassland, as well as suitable habitat on brownfield sites. Suitable habitat is often confined to small areas, which can easily become overgrown and lost to succession. References
