Your post reminded (and surprised) me that the Common Toad is now a priority UKBAP species, added in the latest review http://www.ukbap.org.uk/NewPriorityList.aspx . I would be interested to find out if there is the intention to have a Species Action Plan for this species. Any herp specialist out there that can provide an answer?
