Sat 20th June 2009 18:08 by Grant Maton Five Spot Burnet Zygaena trifolii I have just counted over 200 Five Spot Burnet moths on Thistles at Chafford Gorge Nature Reserve in West Thurrock Essex. In fact this was only a small percentage as I ran out of time! Is this an unusual sighting in Essex and at that density? There were also Cinnabar Moths as well.
